APPROACH NOTES
Kaneohe Bay has extensive reef — you MUST follow the marked channel. Enter from the south through the main bay channel; depths outside markers drop to 2–4 ft. Proceed north along the west edge of the bay to He'eia Kea. Call on VHF 16 before entering the harbor channel. Trade winds are strongest 1000–1600 HST — morning arrivals are calmer. Max draft strictly enforced at 6 ft.
