APPROACH NOTES

Enter via the main breakwater channel from the north, paralleling the Kailua pier. Red-right returning — keep red markers to starboard on entry. Fuel dock and harbormaster shack are on the northwest wall. Call on VHF 16 for a slip assignment before approaching the guest dock. Strong kona winds (offshore) can push vessels into the fuel dock approach — reduce to bare steerageway. No wake inside the harbor. Overnight transient limit: 72 hours.
